Booking & Cancellations
When booking an appointment, you will be required to pay a deposit fee to secure your booking.
Your deposit is not an extra charge it is simply held on an account for you on your booking and is deducted from your service cost at the completion of your appointment.
Atelier Hair requires a minimum of 24-hour notice for all appointment cancellations to allow for us to reschedule appointments and to manage our staffing efficiently.
Where there is less than the required 24-hour notice of cancellation provided or where a client does not turn up to an appointment, the deposit paid is non-refundable.
Atelier Hair sends SMS appointment reminders out for all bookings 48-hours prior to the appointment (2 days). Clients should confirm appointments or cancellations by responding to their individual appointment confirmation text message.
Atelier Hair endeavours to contact those clients who have not responded to their confirmation SMS message to ascertain their appointment status prior to the 24-hour notice period lapsing.
Rescheduled appointments must be made within 4-weeks of your original appointment date. Rescheduled appointments outside of this period can result in your deposit being non-refundable. Future bookings will require that usual booking deposit to be paid.
The 24 hour cancellation period allows your hairdresser a reasonable timeframe to book in other clients to fill your cancelled space.
If you are using a gift voucher 50% of the voucher will be charged if the cancellation is received with less than the required 24-hour notice requirement.
Atelier Hair has an afterhours phone answering service that you can leave a message advising of your cancellation or you may cancel via email info@AtelierHair.com.au
Clients that cancel appointments or do not show up to booked appointments more than 2 times in any 6-month period may be subject to an increased deposit payment at the time of subsequent bookings.

Reservations
We recommend booking your appointment as early as possible to ensure availability of time and with your preferred stylist. Please try to arrive 5 minutes early so that you may relax and we can facilitate the most rewarding experience for you. We regret that we may not always be unable to extend the time of an appointment if you arrive late. We will always try and accommodate all our client’s needs wherever possible.
Where a booking has been made using an Atelier Hair voucher and is cancelled without providing the required 24-hour notice the booking deposit amount or the amounts as set out in our booking and cancelation policy will be subtracted from the voucher.
Voucher Policy
Atelier Hair vouchers are perfect for any one on any occasion and redeemable only at Atelier Hair in salon. Our gift cards can be used toward any salon service or purchase of any products. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash. Gift cards are not transferable, may not be returned, may not be redeemed for cash or used to purchase another gift card. Service prices are subject to change. Atelier Hair is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Vouchers are valid for 12 months after issue date.
Privacy Policy
Atelier Hair adheres to the Privacy Act 1988. The Privacy Act contains a set of standards for the handling of your personal information known as the National Privacy Principles (NPPs). Atelier Hair will never share your private information with any individual or third party unless it is legally permissible. We maintain all client records in a secure system with strict access permissions. Our staff are trained and will not disclose any personal information unless legally compliant.
Personal Items
Please note that personal items are the responsibility of the client at all times. We do not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items. You should keep valuable items with you at all times.
Children
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our clients, visitors, and guests, we remind you that it is your responsibility to supervise children in your care when visiting the salon.
We always aim to provide a relaxed and professional environment for everyone who visits our salon.
Payment Methods
Atelier Hair reserves the right to pass on charges related to electronic payments. Payments for all services can be made by cash or EFTPOS.
Atelier Hair does not provide personal credit to clients.
Visa and MasterCard may incur a 1.5% surcharge.
AMEX will incur a 3% surcharge.
Atelier Hair also offers afterpay which also incurs additional fees set by afterpay. You should refer to the terms and conditions set out in your afterpay contract for details specific to your use of afterpay.
These charges are related to your personal banking arrangements with your financial institution and not set by Atelier Hair.
